There is increasing recognition that many types of complementary medicine are helpful to cancer patients and many people feel greatly helped by using complementary medicine alongside their conventional treatment. Indeed many treatments are now available at National Health Service Hospitals and Centres in the UK. We shall be providing members with information on some of the treatments that are helpful for cancer patients ranging from acupuncture to herbal treatments and from Reike to Spiritual Healing. We shall advise where we think cancer patients need to take special care.
