Dear Jane

I had to write to thank you for the hope and inspiration your book provided me with when I was diagnosed this time last year - as a 47 year old dance/performing arts teacher i was very fit and healthy or so it seemed but further investigation revealed a 3cm ER positive Grade 2 tumour and involvement in the lymph nodes - extensive chest wall and tiny bone mets - the prognosis was poor but I was determined to fight it and armed with your book made the recommended diet and lifestyle changes - this week a shocked and surprised surgeon told me that they had expected after chemo and radio to shrink it enough to be controlled - however he was delighted to say there was nothing there! I also tolerated chemo radio and the early menopause without side effects - I hand out your book to anyone who is diagnosed and I can't thank you enough
