Jane attended an International Congress on the Earth and Environment in Oslo in August. She convened two sessions, one with Professor Vala Ragnarsdottir of Bristol University on Environmental Geochemistry and one on Medical Geology with Dr Olle Selinus of Sweden. She gave keynote lectures in both sessions. One lecture was entitled 'Endocrine disrupting chemicals in the environment and hormone dependent cancer '. She repeated that lecture at an international meeting in The Natural History Museum in London on Friday 22nd August.
