Oddur's story
I the keeper of website http://www.hi.is/~oddur/info/pc/, Oddur Benediktsson, was diagnosed with prostate cancer (PCa) in December 2005. After reading the brilliant book Prostate Cancer - Understand, Prevent and Overcome by Jane Plant I came to understand that there is a lot that one can do to try to hold the cancer back by the proper diet and life style. I have searched the web for information that may also be of help to others and this site summarises that information. Synopsis - see below. Time line pdf. PSA and IGF-1 measurements graph pdf. In Febuary 2007 the cancer is seen to be in remission in transrectal sonar test.
Additional information related to the subject is welcomed and in particular statistics that relate to effects of milk free diet and IGF-I on PCa that can be posted on this web. Please mail to oddur

Question asked:
Was it the hormone treatment, the diet a la Jane Plant or the Zyflamend food additive that made the cancer retreat?
